Description

Data on invertebrate taxa were obtained from available literature, technical reports, databases, museum data collections and from the NaGISA project in the case of Golfo Nuevo rocky shore invertebrates. It should be taken into account that the data presented here does not represent a revision of the identifications. Species must be evaluated through the material deposited in museum collections or by searching the species in the locality or area that they were cited. However, and although data presented must be verified by experts of each group, these results should reflect the current knowledge of marine invertebrate biodiversity in the analyzed area. Georeferences are consigned as latitudinal and longitudinal ranks when a continuous distribution is assumed, and with data-points in case of discontinuous distribution.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 3,553 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Downloads

Download the latest version of this resource data as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A) or the resource metadata as EML or RTF:

Data as a DwC-A file download 3,553 records in English (221 kB) - Update frequency: unknown
