FPN-EH-AVES - Breeding Distribution of seabirds in Patagonia Argentina coast

Latest version published by ArOBIS Centro Nacional Patagónico on Apr 5, 2017 ArOBIS Centro Nacional Patagónico

Updated distribution of sixteen species of seabirds along the Patagonian coast. Number of breeding pairs at colonies of penguins, cormorants, gulls and terns were evaluated by aerial, boat and ground surveys carried out between 1993-1995 during the implementation of the Patagonian Coastal Zone Management Plan (Fundación Patagonia Natural and Wildlife conservation Society - GEF-UNDP). Census dates were timed to coincide with the late incubation period for each species. Additional information after 1998 was updated with published records.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 551 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
